Yifei Gong from Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang

In February 2020, as the coronavirus outbreak spread, Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang created a new set of breathing exercises, and Shifu Liu Quanjun brought it straight into Tai Ji Circle's classes.

Yifei Gong is a series of movements rooted in the Old Frame (Laojia) routine of Chen Taijiquan, combined with deep breathing. Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang created it for the flu season and the coronavirus outbreak that began in 2019. In the traditional account, the movements help to support and strengthen the lungs and the immune system. Each movement is practised slowly, nine times.

Shifu Liu taught Yifei Gong in some of his Foundation classes. The shortened version below is an extract of him teaching students in class.
