Public welfare classes
As part of his commitment to public welfare and helping the local community, Master Liu periodically runs free or at cost training classes, to share some of his teaching and introduce participants to some of the fundamentals of Qi Gong, Taijiquan and Chinese Medicine. Details and booking for any such upcoming sessions will be displayed below.
About the Taiji Circle Charity
Prior to founding Taiji Circle Lucky Dragon, Shifu Liu was Director of the Taiji Circle charity in London along with Chris Jones, who is also a disciple of Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang. The charity was dedicated to sharing the practice of Chen Taijiquan and Qi Gong with the wider community.
That commitment took many forms over the years: free monthly Tai Chi in the Park sessions in Regents Park and Camden Square (2016–2025) on the first Saturday of the month, fundraiser days — including for the memorial to the Chinese Labour Corps of the First World War — community classes for people living with Parkinson’s, and falls-awareness work with Age UK. Taiji Circle Lucky Dragon continues that tradition today.
