Yifei Gong from Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang

In February 2020, as the coronavirus outbreak spread, Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang created a new set of breathing exercises, and Shifu Liu Quanjun brought it straight into Tai Ji Circle's classes.

Yifei Gong is a series of movements rooted in the Old Frame (Laojia) routine of Chen Taijiquan, combined with deep breathing. Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang created it in early 2020, during the coronavirus outbreak. Its name means “benefit the lungs” exercise. Each movement is practised slowly, nine times.

Shifu Liu taught Yifei Gong in some of his Foundation classes. The shortened version below is an extract of him teaching students in class.
