February 2 @ 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm£50.00 - £65.00
Double workshop of Chen Single Sabre and Tai Ji Ball forms with Shifu Liu Quanjun.
The short Tai Ji Ball form can be practised for gaining smooth fluid movements and for enhancing well-being, it is simple to learn for beginners to tai ji and practiced as a health exercise. At a more advanced level the ball can be larger and weighted to help with strengthening the whole body.
The traditional single broadsword is usually the first Chen Taijiquan weapon form taught, it is very lively, and dynamic routine, using the waist and dantian as axis and has 23 movements which can be learnt quite quickly. It needs a degree of relaxation to perform at speed and keep the movements flowing and smooth.
